Diamond Color

Did you know that Diamonds come in every color imaginable?

Color choice is very personal.  In my years of selling diamonds I have seen couples that enjoy the pure whiteness of a colorless diamond.  On the other hand, I have seen some who prefer the warmer tones of a golden diamond or a light yellow diamond.

Diamonds are graded by color, as well as the other 4 C,s of cut, clarity, and carat.

Less color in a diamond is generally preferred by most.

Diamonds with no color are classified in the D, E, F, range and can be very rare and expensive because of their rarity.

Diamonds with a faint color are classified as K, L, M, N, O,  are less rare and thus more affordable.

If you are on a budget, you may want to sacrifice color for carat weight to get a bigger diamond for your money.

I personally recommend buying the whitest Diamond you can budget.  You will always notice the yellow of the Diamond, but not always will you see the inclusions within the Diamonds.

If you do not want to see color in your Diamond...do not choose a Diamond below an I color.
